I think EDI would always get excited after having one of her talks with Shepard, and then go to Joker and tell him all about what she learned.

 I believe my Shepard would feel terrible of what the consequences of her choice would be. Edi was special to her as was Joker, but her lust for destroying the Reapers and coming back home to Garrus clouded her judgement.

Sad Shepard is sad :(

Only Garrus would know that she had more than one choice to defeat the Reapers and he would still understand and stick by the choice she made.

Even though I picked destroy without a second thought I watched the synthesis ending and I would imagine that even though Shepard got to live and be with Garrus she wouldn’t tell anyone other than Garrus about the other options and be in constant guilt over EdI’s death.
